This week’s theme has been Sleep.

We had Gareth speak in the group about sleep. Gareth spoke about the positive impact that Martial Arts has on sleep for children.  “It can really help children, release their pent up emotions”. Joining an after school Martial Arts club helps not only to tire children out, help reduce that dinner time irritability but also help them fall asleep faster.

  • Have a calming and peaceful bedroom.
  • Did you know we sleep in 90 mins cycles, so that’s why we often wake up groggy! Pick a wake up time and work backwards.
  • NAP TIME – research has shown, its so beneficial to take an afternoon nap – there are caveats so check out those and more tips in the group
