Ashley has held the space for our child with compassion, integrity, hope and an intact sense of humor! She offers pragmatic solutions and solid frameworks to address issues and a deep empathy for how difficult the world has been for our children over recent times. The monthly check in with us, the parents, is hugely valuable allowing us to support our child the best way possible and to understand -within the boundaries of Ashley’s deeply held commitment to confidentiality -how our child is progressing. Ashley has our recommendation!

We all found the family well-being session really helpful, with Ashley engaging straight away with the 2 boys. Although it was via Zoom they held their concentration and we all made notes - which we are still referring to!
We came away with tasks to do (all 4 of us) and we are starting to put them intro practice - with immediate results in some areas!
A great session for any Family to do - to help get the best out of the Family unit

After hearing Ashley speak at a conference a couple of years ago I started to follow her on social media, during lockdown she happily shared her knowledge and delivered many practical tips on surviving with the family during this period.
When my 11yo had a difficult transition to high school I knew that she was the one to contact. We talked about the issue and my son started to work with her, having weekly meetings online. He absolutely loved joining her on screen and over the weeks, it was quickly apparent that his confidence was building and his understanding of relationships with teachers and peers increased quickly.
Eight weeks later he was in a very different place and reports that Ashley made him happy and more confident. If we have any more bumps in the road we know that Ashley is on hand and we can resume the sessions, he reports that the time he spent working with her made him happy and more confident and I am very grateful that after a very difficult start to high school he is starting the summer term as a Resilient Kid! Thanks Ashley.

Our son was finding school challenging and my husband and I decided that some outside help would be valuable. Ashley was the first person I thought of approaching. I knew her as a psychotherapist and admired her work when I got to know her as a speaker at TEDXNorthwich 2019 (I was her speaker coach).
What Ashley does is listen carefully, explain things in language that is understandable and is generous with her time and advice. In particular, I was struggling with words and phrases to use with my son, and she was great at guiding me and encouraging me. She is hugely respectful and has good insights into our situation and experiences. Her follow up has also been brilliant and she checks in to see how things are going.
I have also attended a couple of her Resilient Kid workshops. Ashley knows her stuff and she demonstrates a keen desire to really help in a practical way by giving people the knowledge and tools to make a difference with their own child. Ashley is now building a large following as the COVID19 crisis puts pressures on families and children and her reputation for friendly, direct and supportive advice is well deserved. I would highly recommend it.
She’s a lovely person too who’s energy, determination and love of life is infectious.

Where do I start?
I had a call with Ashley after I was having parent separation anxiety problems. My daughter is starting Preschool in a couple of weeks. After a dreadful experience a few months ago, it left me with fear, dread & lots of other emotions.
I had reached out to lots of friends & family members to talk but I just felt I needed to speak to someone ‘who knew what they were talking about’ and wow! Ashley really does!
There were light bulb moments, so much understanding, sympathy (which really helped) suggestions, help with moving forward! The phone call instantly lifted huge weights off my shoulders, gave me the confidence to ask for what we needed regarding Settling my daughter in at Preschool.
She is absolutely amazing!!! I felt like I had known her all my life after a couple of mins on the phone.
If you’re struggling with anything in your family life, this is the place to be. Reach out and ask for help!
I am so so glad I did!!
Thank you so so much Ashley xx

Ashley has provided invaluable support to our daughter, X. X has had anxiety throughout her life, first being referred to CAMHS aged 3. Now in her late teenage years and dealing with a number of significant life changes, we got in touch with Ashley, having seen her Facebook page. X has had weekly counselling sessions with Ashley. We have seen her confidence in herself grow. She has managed her challenges independently, knowing that she has background support from Ashley. We feel that X has developed the tools that will help her throughout adulthood. Our only regret is that we didn’t get in touch with Ashley sooner!
