SCHOOL SUPPORT

Helping schools build resilience from the inside out

At The Resilient School, we partner with schools to boost wellbeing, confidence and emotional regulation — not just for pupils, but for the whole school community.

Whether you need high-impact CPD, targeted group work or bespoke 1:1 sessions, we are here to help your school thrive.

STAFF CPD TRAINING

Practical. Brain-based. Trauma-informed.

Our CPD equips staff with tools that make a real difference in the classroom. It is ideal for schools looking to reduce behaviour incidents, build a consistent approach and empower staff to support pupils emotionally and behaviourally.

Staff leave with practical strategies they can use immediately in classrooms, corridors, pastoral conversations and moments of dysregulation.

GROUP SESSIONS

Targeted support with a big impact

Group sessions are ideal for children and teens struggling with anxiety, friendships, confidence or behaviour.

We offer themed 4–6 week programmes such as:

  • Worry Warriors / Anxiety Reset
  • Confidence Club
  • Friendship Builders
  • Anger & Me
  • Transition Boosters
  • Chill Skills
  • Brain Smart Kids
  • Finding Your People

Delivered by trained Resilient Kid Coaches, these sessions help pupils feel safer, more confident and more able to manage everyday challenges.

1:1 COACHING

For pupils who need personalised support

We work with children 1:1 to help them manage:

  • Anxiety and overthinking
  • Anger and big feelings
  • Low confidence and self-esteem
  • Emotional regulation and sensory overwhelm
  • Friendships and social difficulties

One of our values is to work 360° with students. This means we can also support teachers, parents and carers with optional strategy sessions to reinforce learning at home and in school.

Pupil Premium can often be used to fund this support.

Many schools use Pupil Premium where emotional and resilience needs are impacting learning, behaviour or confidence.

SEND or Inclusion

This work supports children with additional needs, including neurodivergent pupils and those with SEMH needs.

Wellbeing or Pastoral

Schools may use wellbeing or pastoral budgets to support mental health, early intervention and whole-school resilience.

CPD Budget

The training provides practical, evidence-informed tools staff can use immediately, making it a strong fit for staff development.

Safeguarding or Behaviour

Resilience supports emotional regulation, relationships and behaviour, helping reduce incidents of concern.

PTA Support

Some PTAs fund training as part of their commitment to whole-school wellbeing and parent-school partnerships.
